MTM is Equipping Servants to Reach the World...
Our mission is to provide a modular session training program for missionaries. This ministry will provide education and practical training in biblical mission principles, methods and strategies. These courses will further develop cross-cultural communication skills and personal growth in character and leadership. The best resources and proven teachers and leaders in their respective fields will be utilized.
Fall 2019 Module: October 7-11, 2019
THE MISSIONARY CALL AND SPIRITUAL LIFE
Flatwoods Baptist Church, Mountain View, Arkansas
THE MISSIONARY AND SENDING CHURCH RELATIONSHIPS
The curriculum will be our traditional Week One which is geared toward the relationship of the missionary and the sending church. Our speakers will provide training for churches on how to be a good sending church and for missionaries on how to properly relate to their sending church. During the week, we will also introduce the biblical pattern of indigenous churches. Classes of special interest to pastors will be “How to Double Your Mission Giving Without Hurting the General Fund,” “How to Really Turn Your Church On to Missions,” and “How to Have a Great Missions Conference.” The session on how to handle missionary finances probably answers more practical questions than any other session. You just don’t want to miss this! Fill out the form below and send it in with your registration fee.
What About Week Two?
Week Two of the seminar will be taught in the Spring of 2020. We are making this change to make the seminar more like the MTM schedule. Remember, both weeks of WMS are also MTM Modules. If you attend all the MTM Modules and complete the required outside reading, you earn an Associate degree at the Missionary Baptist Seminar. This change also gives a break to our wonderful volunteers at FaithNLR. These volunteers are essential to the seminar and we want to take care of them!
