Wayne and his wife, Lorinda, have three daughters and seven grandchildren.  He had pastored Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church for the past 12 years where he had been heavily involved in mission work, especially that of Bro. Joe Morell in Lithuania.  He had served as Moderator for the Blue Mountain Association and served on the ABA Mission Committee.
