Joe Morell has been married to his wife Jessie since 1973.  They have two grown daughters in the Little Rock area, Kelli and Amy.  He attended the Louisiana Missionary Baptist Seminary in Minden where he received his ThB, ThM, and ThD.  He pastored First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Camden, Arkansas in 1975-76 and then Greenacres Missionary Baptist Church, Bossier City, Louisiana from 1976 until 1997.  During that time he was a faculty member of, Louisiana Missionary Baptist Seminary from 1989 to 1997, serving as Dean from 1993 to 1997.  While in Shreveport he was Chaplain for the Shreveport Fire Department for 10 years.  In 1997 God led the Morells to the foreign mission field.  Joe Morell ministered as a Missionary to Lithuania,
  Latvia, and Finland.  He has worked as an International Bible Institute Consultant since 2005 and was the Founder and Director of Lithuanian Missionary Baptist Institute from 1997-2003.  He also served on the American Baptist Association Standing Missionary Committee Member from 1988-1997.  He now serves as
the Senior Pastor of Flatwoods Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas.
