Russell spent 19 years planting churches in Morgantown, West Virginia, Olympia, Washington, and Bentonville Arkansas. In 2021, he launched the Barnabas Advocacy Ministry, a new ministry with the simple purpose of strengthening and encouraging church planting families.
Russell and Belinda have been married for 30 years, and have two grown children, Ryan and Janna. In their spare time, Russell and Belinda enjoy camping, hiking, and fly fishing.
